Priest, Prophet and King - Week 1 and 2

A six episodes series featuring Bishop Robert Barron is currently being screened and we are blessed to have completed the first two episodes. There were more than 30 participants for the 2 sessions. The hour includes listening to the inspiring talks by Bishop Barron and a time for sharing. In the first session, Bishop Barron introduced right worship or Adoratio to the audience. He also mentioned that in a fallen world, there is no communion without sacrifice and that the ultimate sacrifice was Christ Himself. The first talk was the precursor to the second where Bishop Barron highlighted Jesus as the ultimate High Priest and how His sacrifice on the cross calls us forward to bring about the Kingdom of God in our midst.

It was here that these couples renewed their wedding promises which was followed by a time of sharing the joy over a meal.

This is a love in which we can place all our trust, in which we can believe….let us entrust ourselves to Jesus, let us give ourselves over to him, because he never disappoints anyone! Only in Christ crucified and risen can we find salvation and redemption.” — Pope Francis, World Youth Day, Way of the Cross, July 26, 2013

Worship Night - January 2016

The first Worship Night of the year 2016 happened last Friday i.e. 29th Jan 2016. The evening started with a time of powerful and deep worship led by Fr. Alliston together with the worship team. People came to the worship the Lord and prepared their hearts to receive His message of how to live a victorious life by surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Ignatius Susilo, our resident missionary was God’s instrument whose talk based on scripture and his own personal experiences, both convicted and challenged the audience to recommit their lives once again to the almighty God who loves and knows them personally.

It was truly a blessed time of grace for the people who came to attend. The evening concluded with a great tone of joy as we sang and danced to the Lord in thanksgiving for His mercy and love.
